After sleeping in late (and catching up on our jet lag) we walked over to the Botanical Garden and Museum section of the city, where we had a nice coffee and croissant at El Botnico then went to the Museo Reina Sofia (Museum of Modern Art), which features Picasso's Guernica.
We then walked through Parque Retiro, which is a giant park in the middle of the city and sat for a while and enjoyed a beverage before heading up to Lavinia, the largest wine store in Europe.
Tonight we are meeting up with Barbara and Leann, our friends from last night's tapas tour from London and Australia, respectively, for dinner.
